Account Closure and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the KlickPay application and services can request that their account is closed and their personal data is deleted, and which data KlickPay may need to retain for legal, regulatory, audit, accounting, AML/CFT, fraud monitoring and dispute-handling reasons.

1. How to Request Account Closure and Data Deletion

  1. Make sure there are no pending payments, unsettled balances, open disputes or chargebacks on your account.
  2. Send an email from your registered email address to info@klick-pay.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request – KlickPay”.
  3. Include your full name, mobile number, merchant/customer ID if available, platform used and a clear statement requesting account closure and personal data deletion.
  4. Our support team may contact you to verify your identity and confirm that there are no pending obligations or legal restrictions.
  5. After verification, your account will be closed and your personal data will be deleted or anonymized except for data that must be retained for legal or regulatory reasons.

2. Data Deleted or Retained

Please note that as a regulated financial service provider, KlickPay cannot immediately erase all records related to transactions.

3. What to Expect After Submitting Your Request

  • You will receive confirmation that your request has been received.
  • Your account will be deactivated so it can no longer be used to initiate new payments.
  • Your profile data will be deleted or anonymized as soon as reasonably possible after verification.
  • Transaction-related emails or statements generated before closure cannot be recalled retroactively.
